Volunteers from Campbell Mithun, one of the oldest and most widely respected advertising agencies in the Twin Cities, joined our Southwest seniors for our Game Show Showdown on Wednesday, May 23^rd.  Part of Southwest’s Brain-a-thon, the Game Show Showdown encouraged seniors and Campbell Mithun staff to bend their brains through games of Jeopardy, Concentration, and Wheel of Fortune. 

Southwest seniors participate in the Brain-a-thon annually, where points are awarded for completed “brain” activities, including such things as: taking a computer class, doing crossword puzzles, playing board games, and exercising.  The idea is this:  a healthy brain=a long, healthy life.  Our goal is to keep seniors active and living independently; the Brain-a-thon is just one of the many ways we work to achieve this.
